I’ve been absent from the blogosphere for a few days for two main reasons: I’ve been digging through piles of academic journals looking for references, and the new back end web 2.0 dashboard for wordpress is about as responsive as a pregnant whale.  I’ll pick up the pace this week, I think.

Some current news: your browser is insecure.  You probably knew that already, but it’s worse than you think.  Results of a Chapin Information Services study, from Ryan Naraine on ZDNet’s blog:

Yes, Virginia, Security *is* Important in Design!

Opera scores the best, and they got a whopping 33%, failing 14 tests and passing 7.  F-MINUS.
